Does HerSolution Work? Female Libido Evidence Check
HerSolution is a herbal libido pill with six ingredients and no published clinical trial. We look at what's in it, the evidence, the 67-day guarantee and who should skip it.
In briefChecked October 2026
Nobody knows. HerSolution is our top pick among the women's libido supplements we cover, chiefly because its refund policy is clear. Even so, the formula has no published placebo-controlled trial, the ingredient doses aren't disclosed, and ingredient research in women is thin. Several ingredients (levodopa from Mucuna, plant estrogens, ginkgo) carry real cautions too.
The HerSolution Formula
This once-daily pill has six ingredients on the official pages (checked October 2026), and no amounts are shown. They are niacin, hops extract, Mucuna pruriens (25% L-DOPA), Ginkgo biloba, Epimedium sagittatum (40% icariin) and cayenne pepper. Neither damiana nor black cohosh, both mentioned in older descriptions, is in it.
The Evidence
No published placebo-controlled trial covers HerSolution itself. The one product document the company links is an acute oral toxicity study, and that kind of study tests for harm, not effectiveness
Ginkgo biloba, tested alone in placebo-controlled trials (some on antidepressant-related sexual problems), has not shown a reliable benefit over placebo
Hops, Mucuna and epimedium: there are essentially no trials in women for desire or arousal
Doses are undisclosed, so the ingredient research can't be matched to what's in the pill
Pregnancy, trying to conceive and breastfeeding are all reasons not to use HerSolution. Hops and epimedium act somewhat like estrogen, so women with a past hormone-sensitive cancer, endometriosis or fibroids should talk to their doctor first. Ginkgo may increase bleeding risk if you also take blood thinners. Mucuna supplies levodopa, so it shouldn't be combined with Parkinson's drugs, MAO inhibitors or antipsychotics. Niacin can cause flushing. Our HerSolution side effects guide has more.
HerSolution has no published clinical trial, its ingredient doses aren't disclosed, and little evidence supports its ingredients for desire or arousal in women. Mainly for its refund policy, it is our top pick among the women's libido supplements we cover, though expectations should be modest.
With no trial, there's no timeline to quote. The guarantee asks for 60 days of trying it, and returns must reach the warehouse within 67 days of delivery, which makes that the practical window for deciding.
A healthy woman who takes no regular medication could consider it. Pregnancy and breastfeeding rule it out. Ask your doctor first if you use blood thinners, Parkinson's drugs, MAO inhibitors or antipsychotics, or have a hormone-sensitive condition.
No synthetic hormones are in it. Hops and epimedium do act somewhat like estrogen, though, and Mucuna supplies levodopa, a dopamine precursor. If you have a hormone-sensitive condition, talk to your doctor.
From the official website, which offers the 67-day guarantee. It runs from delivery and has conditions: shipping isn't refunded, and each customer gets one refund.
